Following a national search, I am delighted to announce that Cara Sammartino, ’16 Ph.D., M.S.P.H., has been appointed associate dean of education for the School of Public Health.

I am pleased to announce that Melissa Clark, Ph.D., professor in the Departments of Health Services Policy & Practice and Obstetrics and Gynecology, will serve as the lead for our upcoming reaccreditation cycle as director of accreditation.

I offer my sincere appreciation for the work you’ve done, but also for the way you’ve continually shown up for one another.

It is a true honor to be appointed the next dean of this outstanding School of Public Health. I am thrilled and humbled by this opportunity to serve you, our incredible students, faculty and staff, as you advance our essential public health mission.
