My time here at Brown has been the most fulfilling and rewarding of my academic career. That is, quite simply, because of all of you.

Our aim is to highlight someone who is making a significant impact on their community or in their field, and to honor those who have exemplified dedication and made outstanding contributions to public health on a local, national, or global level.

To our new students, staff and faculty—welcome to our community. And to our returning colleagues, welcome back. The energy that fills our classrooms, offices, hallways and shared spaces at this time of year is always inspiring. It reminds us of our shared purpose: using knowledge to improve health here in Rhode Island and across the globe.
