Dear SPH community,
I’m writing to share with you that Megan Ranney’s title within the School of Public Health has changed to Deputy Dean, effective October 1.
This new title better reflects the breadth of the responsibilities Megan has at SPH. These include serving as the School’s chief academic officer, as well as advancement work, community engagement, and oversight of the partnerships and coalitions we are building as we collaborate to transform how the world teaches, studies, and practices public health. This title also brings the School into alignment with the titles used throughout the University.
You'll see this change on our website and in upcoming communications, and we ask that you update it in your own materials, where relevant.
I'm grateful for Megan's continued partnership in the leadership of our School and for all that she is doing to strengthen both this academic community and our relationships with the communities we serve in Rhode Island and beyond.
Sincerely,
Ronald Aubert, Ph.D., MSPH
Interim Dean, Brown University School of Public Health
