Dear members of the SPH community,
In the middle of the pandemic, I am struggling to find good opportunities to spend time with students, staff, and faculty. I've also been dying to get to know the campus and Providence better.
So, I've decided to start going on short walks to explore Providence on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 to 9 am. Starting next Tuesday, September 22, anyone who wants to chat with me can sign up and come along. We can meet in the lobby of 121 South Main Street, and I plan to continue these walks at least through the end of the year.
While I only have these two walks a week scheduled right now, I will try to add one more -- maybe at the end of the day to accommodate folks for whom mornings are hard. In the interest of social distancing -- and maximizing the chance to get to know you and what’s on your mind better -- we will limit it to two people plus me on any given walk.
If you'd like to join me, please sign up for one of the two slots per day using this link.
For those of you who are unable to participate for any reason, there will be other opportunities to engage, and I am very open to alternative ways of connecting.
Looking forward,
